-The VWF:Ag level increases during pregnancy,use of birth control pills, physical exercise, stress.it also rises with age.A contrario,populations of blood type O have significantly lower plasma VWF:Ag levels than those of blood types A,B and AB.
-The result is to be interpreted according to the patient s clinical and biological states.
-This kit cannot detect the rare type 2 variants whose level of VWF:Ag is normal.
